In 2000, Derk Jan started his career in the M&A department of NIBC and worked from 2001 for Deloitte Corporate Finance. From 2007, he worked for the Spanish listed company Service Point Solutions as Head of Corporate Development leading the international M&A strategy from its headquarters in Barcelona and as a member of the management team of the Dutch subsidiary. At the end of 2010, Derk Jan rejoined Deloitte Corporate Finance and headed the private equity practice before founding Florin Finance in 2013. Derk Jan holds amaster’s degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and has studied International Business at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida (United States).
